Put your cat on a t-shirt

Cats are hard to photograph
Pick a photo where the eyes are sharp. Daylight from a window beats a flash, which turns cat eyes into glowing dots, and a sleeping cat is easier to catch in focus than a moving one.
Black and dark cats
A dark cat on a dark background loses its outline when printed. A photo against a lighter wall prints better, or put the photo on a light shirt. An illustrated version keeps the shape clear on any colour.
Drawn instead of photographed
Describe the cat with no words in the picture, for example a fluffy orange tabby asleep in a sunbeam, and type the name separately: generated pictures misspell lettering.
